The south side of the gila river, east of florence is a very fun place to ride, you have the river, the old remains of cochran, the old train bridge/tunnel,and other sites,we also road due east for 20 miles, endless washes, some dirt roads, but bring a map with you,or take the 60 to the 79 then in florence turn east on diversion dam road,it turns to dirt for awhile and when you get to the bridge/dam cross it and park and ride, but still bring a map
Constalation road is easy to find, drive to wickenburg and turn right, right before you cross the hassayampa river, the two streets before mcdonalds will lead you to the road.Once on it,it heads northwest past the rodeo grounds, you can park across the street and unload or drive up the road more and camp. The mine is a ways back about5,6,7,8 miles and another mile will take you to the old post office and other stuff.bring your topo map.
Stanton area has a lot of dirt roads and washes, good site seeing area, there are some mines still working,so obey posted signs,,,,,,if you get to know the area well enough and have lots of gas,you can get to wickenburg, constalation road, lake pleasent by ATV from here,we did.
